How a Bulletproof Vest Stops a Bullet
Original: How a Bulletproof Vest Stops a Bullet https:// tube.blueben.net/w/td4cC2A4B6U biVWHEW3Pp4
An educational explainer circulating on social media looks at the physics of bulletproof vests, describing how layers of strong fibres catch and spread a bullet's energy, deforming the projectile and dispersing the impact across the body rather than simply 'stopping' it. The item has drawn modest engagement, with commenters sharing the explanation and debating how much protection such vests actually provide.
Why now: People find the counterintuitive physics of body armour — energy dispersion rather than hard stopping — interesting to share and discuss.
