Microsoft is reducing cloud storage for Microsoft 365 Family and Premium subscribers. Until now, each of up to six users received 1 terabyte of OneDrive storage, totaling 6 TB per household. From May 2, 2027, members will have to share a smaller combined allowance, prompting criticism from users about another reduction in subscription value.
Why now: The storage cut will significantly reduce what paying Microsoft 365 customers receive, sparking complaints online.
