Clouthier calls for Clara Luz Flores to lose Morena candidacy

Original: clara luz flores

Tatiana Clouthier has publicly broken ranks with Morena, asking that Clara Luz Flores be stripped of her candidacy. The demand from a prominent party figure adds to pressure around Flores's bid, and the dispute is drawing wide attention in Mexico as debate grows over the party's handling of her nomination.

Why now: A senior Morena figure publicly demanding a fellow party member's candidacy be revoked is a notable internal rift in Mexican politics.
