Netanyahu aide says warnings before October 7 reached every level
Original: ‘This was communicated at every level’: Netanyahu military aide reveals internal warnings before October 7
A military aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says internal warnings ahead of the October 7 Hamas attack were passed up the chain of command, telling CNN the concerns were 'communicated at every level'. The remarks intensify scrutiny of why the warnings did not translate into preventive action and who bears responsibility for the intelligence failure.
Why now: Renewed focus on accountability for the October 7 intelligence failure inside Netanyahu's government and military.
