Toto Wolff calls favouritism claims over Kimi Antonelli 'brainless'
Original: 'Watch Teletubbies, not F1': Toto Wolff hits back at 'brainless' Kimi Antonelli driver favouritism claims
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has strongly rejected suggestions that the team favours rookie driver Kimi Antonelli, branding such claims 'brainless'. In a colourful rebuke, he told critics to 'watch Teletubbies, not F1' instead of following the sport. The comments come amid ongoing debate over how the young Italian is being treated and promoted within the team.
Why now: Wolff's blunt public response to accusations of favouritism toward rookie Antonelli has reignited debate about Mercedes' driver management.
