Original: NFL scouts cool on 2027 QB draft class: Why Arch Manning and others could benefit from staying in college
NFL scouts are reportedly unimpressed with the 2027 quarterback draft class, according to CBS Sports. The report suggests top prospects like Texas quarterback Arch Manning and others could benefit from remaining in college longer rather than entering a potentially weak draft. The assessment is fueling debate among football fans about how early elite college quarterbacks should declare for the NFL and how they should develop.
Why now: Scouts' lukewarm assessment of a high-profile future quarterback class is sparking debate about when star college QBs should turn pro.
