Microsoft Cuts Family OneDrive Storage from 6 TB to 2 TB
Original: Microsoft 365 Cuts Family OneDrive Storage from 6 TB to 2 TB
Microsoft is reducing the OneDrive storage included with Microsoft 365 Family plans from 6 TB to 2 TB, cutting the per-person allowance from 2 TB to roughly 667 GB across up to six users. The change has drawn criticism from subscribers who rely on the larger capacity, with many viewing it as another step of shrinking value in subscription services.
Why now: Subscribers are reacting to an unexpected reduction in storage they consider part of what they pay for.
