TerminalTribune: Speaking to Document, Not Persuade
Original: “For whoever speaks this way is not seeking to persuade but to document.” # News # Politics # TerminalTribune https:// n
TerminalTribune, an independent news outlet, is drawing attention with the line that whoever speaks this way is not seeking to persuade but to document. The statement frames journalism as a record-keeping practice rather than an act of persuasion, and it is being shared under news, politics, journalism and press tags.
Why now: The line resonates with ongoing debates about whether journalism should stay neutral and document events rather than advocate or persuade.
