Original: Martin Freeman lends voice to Gromit for audiobook edition of his autobiography https://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/celeb
Actor Martin Freeman has been announced as the voice of Gromit for the audiobook edition of the character's autobiography. The pairing links the star of The Office and the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Nick Park's beloved silent beagle from the Wallace and Gromit films, a role that requires expression without dialogue since Gromit never speaks.
Why now: The novelty of a famous actor voicing a famously silent character is generating amusement and interest among fans.
