Trump's hostility to wind power puzzles clean energy watchers
Original: Why does US President Donald Trump hate wind power so much? After all, he seems to love solar... https:// cleantechnica.
A CleanTechnica article is drawing attention to an apparent inconsistency in US energy policy: President Donald Trump's repeated attacks on wind power, even as solar manufacturing, factories and jobs continue to expand, notably in Texas and the polysilicon supply chain. Commenters are asking why wind is singled out while solar enjoys a warmer reception, tying the question to wider debate over the administration's energy priorities.
Why now: The contrast between Trump's anti-wind rhetoric and the growing US solar industry has reignited debate over the administration's energy policy.
