'Social Reckoning' review finds Facebook film losing its thread
Original: Movie review: 'Social Reckoning' loses thread of Facebook scandal
A new film review of 'Social Reckoning' argues the movie loses track of the Facebook scandal it set out to examine. The reviewer suggests the film struggles to keep focus on the real-world drama behind the social network, weakening its critique. It adds to debate over whether big-screen takes on tech controversies can do justice to their subject matter.
Why now: A newly published review is drawing attention to the film's handling of the Facebook scandal story.
