Grimes has released the first song from Psy Opera, her AI-inspired album, according to Pitchfork. The Canadian musician has been closely associated with artificial intelligence in her recent work, previously releasing an AI-generated voice tool and collaborating with AI models on her music. The new release marks the first material from the project, though details about the album's themes, sound, and release date have not been fully disclosed.
Why now: Grimes is a prominent musician exploring AI in art, so new material from an AI-inspired album draws attention amid ongoing debates about AI and creativity.
