Original: “The ‘Mecca Pact’ Exposed: A Muslim Alliance Fighting Yemen with Israel’s Help” by Robert Inlakesh in The Palestine Chro
Robert Inlakesh, writing in The Palestine Chronicle, alleges a so-called 'Mecca Pact' in which a Muslim alliance is fighting Yemen's Houthi-aligned forces with Israel's assistance. The article claims Pakistan and Turkiye have declared their intention to take part. The claims are drawing attention in pro-Palestinian online circles, though the pact's existence is not independently confirmed.
Why now: Readers are alarmed by the claim that Muslim states may be cooperating with Israel against Yemen.
