Margaret Hamilton, the NASA software engineer whose onboard flight code famously helped Apollo 11's lunar landing proceed despite a computer overload, has died, according to an obituary from Ars Technica. Hamilton led development of the Apollo guidance computer software at MIT and became an icon of early computing and space history.
