Kit Harington has said his adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities 'takes some creative licence', speaking to the press ahead of its staging. The actor discussed the production during a Paris and London press round connected to the Bastille, explaining that the version departs from Dickens' original text in places while keeping the historical drama's core of revolution and sacrifice.
Why now: Kit Harington's involvement and the adaptation's departures from the classic Dickens novel are drawing attention as the production is promoted.
