Developer launches self-hosted life dashboard with AI integration
Original: Show HN: Edi Life OS – self-hosted life dashboard with an MCP server for AI
Developer Edris Ranjbar has released Edi Life OS, an open-source, self-hosted personal dashboard that consolidates life data in one place. Its distinguishing feature is a built-in MCP server, allowing AI assistants to connect directly to a user's personal information. The project is hosted on GitHub, and early discussion among tech enthusiasts centres on the appeal of keeping personal data local while still making it available to AI tools.
Why now: Self-hosted tools that let AI assistants access personal data are a growing point of interest among developers right now.
