Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Steelers reporter Brian Fittipaldo says the team needs to stop sending linebacker Patrick Queen on blitzes, arguing the strategy rarely pays off. 'Can we please stop blitzing Patrick Queen, though? He never gets home,' he said, noting the failed pressures leave Pittsburgh vulnerable to 20-yard completions downfield. The criticism reflects frustration among Steelers observers with the defense's blitz packages this season.
Why now: Steelers fans and analysts are debating defensive play-calling after blitzes involving Patrick Queen repeatedly failed and produced big plays for opponents.
