Car buyers grumble about dull factory color choices

A driver is expressing envy whenever a strikingly colored car passes by, saying their Toyota Prius came only in what they call a boring medium blue when they bought it. They find some comfort that at least the car isn't gray or silver, colors often criticized as the most uninspiring choices on the road.
Why now: Many drivers feel constrained by automakers' limited, muted paint palettes and enjoy venting about it.
