Dutch fraud show warns of ABN AMRO iDEAL phishing texts

Fraudsters are sending text messages claiming to be from ABN AMRO, telling customers their daily iDEAL payment limit has been raised to 8,400 euros. The consumer fraud programme Opgelicht?! by AVROTROS flagged the scam, warning recipients not to click links or share bank details. Banks never ask for codes or confirmations by text message.
