South Sudan repatriates Lao national deported from US
South Sudan has sent back a Lao national who was deported from the United States to South Sudan, according to Eye Radio. The case is part of the US practice of relocating deported migrants to third countries, which has drawn scrutiny when destinations have no connection to the deportee. Details on the man's identity and how long he was held in South Sudan were not given.
