Wimbledon's military security personnel have said they would 'love to sort out' social media influencers, a remark made after influencers caused disruption at the US Open by interrupting matches for content. The comment has drawn attention to how the All England Club and its security teams plan to handle self-promoting disruptions when the Championships get underway in London.
Why now: Viral influencer disruptions at the US Open have put a spotlight on how other Grand Slams, including Wimbledon, will handle similar behaviour.
