Tree photographed with a Picasso-like face in its bark
Original: If Picasso did # trees # pareidolia # facesinthings # nature # art
People are sharing a photo of a tree whose bark forms a distorted, abstract face, likening it to a Picasso painting. The post leans on pareidolia, the common tendency to see faces in natural patterns, and has drawn small but warm engagement from nature and art enthusiasts online.
Why now: Striking images of faces hidden in nature reliably amuse people and get shared widely.
