Odyssey-3 world model aims to control robots, cars and drones
Original: Odyssey-3 world model controls robots, cars and drones from one base
Odyssey-3, a new world model, is being presented as a single AI base capable of controlling robots, autonomous cars and drones. The claim is that one shared model of the physical world can replace separate systems for each type of machine. Details on performance, backers and real-world deployments have not yet been widely reported.
Why now: A single foundation model spanning multiple embodied AI domains would be a significant step for robotics, drawing attention from the industry.
