Turnstile announces free Washington DC show for Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon
Original: Turnstile announces free DC show in support of Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon
Hardcore band Turnstile, originally from Baltimore, has announced a free concert in Washington, DC, staged in support of people in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon. The band has not detailed in the coverage how funds or awareness raised will be directed, but the announcement frames the show as an act of solidarity with civilians affected by the conflicts in those three regions.
Why now: The combination of a free show by a major hardcore band and its explicit political stance on three active conflicts is drawing attention.
