Polish reading subscription service Legimi has joined forces with Spotify, making Polish titles available through Spotify's audiobook offering in 180 countries. Reaction is mixed: while some welcome the wider reach for Polish books, others criticise Legimi for sharing revenue with a company that has invested in a defence-industry start-up, prompting debate among Polish readers online.
Why now: A major partnership between a Polish digital reading platform and Spotify has just been announced, drawing both interest and criticism over Spotify's defence-related investments.
