Nature documentary line strikes viewers as pointed social commentary
Original: I love it when nature documentaries also provide extremely timely commentary about our current world and state of affair
A line from a nature documentary is being shared for its apparent relevance to current affairs. The quote notes that in harsher environments, competition matters less because it consumes too much energy — an observation about wildlife that many readers are taking as a pointed, timely metaphor for the state of the world and human politics today.
Why now: The wildlife quote doubles as a metaphor people find apt for today's political and social climate.
