Leonkoro Quartet Named Royal Academy of Music Nina Drucker Fellows
The Leonkoro Quartet has been appointed Nina Drucker Fellows at the Royal Academy of Music in London. The German string quartet, one of the most celebrated young ensembles on the international chamber music circuit, receives the honour in recognition of its artistry and rising profile. The appointment ties the group more closely to the Academy, where fellows typically work with students and take part in the institution's musical life.
Why now: The award of a prestigious fellowship to one of the leading young string quartets is a notable career milestone.
