A campaign circulating on Mastodon is boosting verified Gaza fundraising links, encouraging users to donate through GoFundMe and repost the appeals with mutual aid hashtags. The campaign, tagged FediForGaza, asks participants to amplify vetted campaigns for families in Gaza, framing donations as a form of direct humanitarian support amid the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis in the territory.
Why now: Ongoing fighting in Gaza keeps mutual aid fundraising campaigns active across decentralized social networks.
