Owen Jones: opposing Gaza killings is not extremism
Original: It’s not dangerous extremism to oppose the slaughter of kids. # war # Gaza # isreal https://www. owenjones.news/p/its-no
Journalist Owen Jones has published a newsletter arguing that opposing the killing of children in Gaza should not be branded as dangerous extremism. The piece pushes back against the framing of pro-Palestinian critics of Israel's military campaign as extremists, a debate that has intensified amid the ongoing war and heated disputes over protests and criticism of Israel in Western politics.
Why now: Ongoing anger over the Gaza war and disputes about whether criticism of Israel is being unfairly labelled as extremism.
