Original: NBA, FIBA committed to European competition despite Euroleague rejection
The NBA and FIBA are moving forward with plans for a new joint basketball competition in Europe, despite EuroLeague's rejection of the project. The two organisations remain committed to launching the venture, setting up a potential rival to EuroLeague's dominance of top-level club basketball on the continent.
