Nippon Professional Baseball draft meeting draws fan predictions
Original: ドラフト会議
Japan's professional baseball draft meeting is approaching, and predictions are flooding in about which players the twelve clubs will select. Analysts suggest the Yomiuri Giants may target position players to fix a weak offense, possibly a high school slugger or a ready-made amateur, while Yakult fans debate whether the Swallows need a right-handed outfielder or a promising left-handed pitcher.
Why now: The annual NPB player draft is imminent, driving predictions and campaign announcements across Japanese sports media.
