Rowan Marshall at centre of St Kilda and Geelong trade talk
Original: rowan marshall st kilda geelong
St Kilda ruckman Rowan Marshall is reportedly the subject of trade interest involving Geelong, with the situation described as a major gamble tied to a $1.7 million-a-year deal. Commentary warns that if the move fails, the club involved risks being labelled a 'footy cemetery'. Fans and commentators are debating whether the club should part with the star ruckman and what his departure would mean for the Saints' list build.
Why now: Ongoing AFL trade period speculation linking Marshall to Geelong is drawing heavy attention from Victorian football fans.
