Princeton Council candidates face first contested election in years
Original: Princeton Council candidates meet in first contested general election in years
Candidates for Princeton Council met in a debate ahead of the borough's first contested general election for the council in years. The contest marks a break from recent election cycles in which seats went unchallenged, giving Princeton voters an actual choice at the ballot box. Details of the candidates' positions and the debate exchanges remain limited, but local attention is on a rare genuinely competitive municipal race.
Why now: Princeton residents are following an unusually competitive local election after years of uncontested council races.
