The Guardian reports that Donald Trump took part in a European Union conference on disinformation, a combination many readers found absurd. Commenters compared the news to satire from The Onion and accused European countries of allowing themselves to be bullied into accommodating him. The story is drawing attention across discussions of EU politics, propaganda and US relations with Canada, Lithuania and the bloc.
