Drake Maye Expresses Doubts About Moon Landing
Original: Drake Maye doubts moon landing
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has raised questions about the Apollo 11 moon landing, casting doubt on whether humans really landed on the lunar surface in 1969. The comments from an active NFL starting quarterback have drawn widespread mockery and criticism online, with many pointing out the overwhelming evidence supporting the mission. Others are debating whether athletes' off-field views should draw this much attention.
Why now: A high-profile NFL quarterback publicly expressing conspiracy-minded skepticism about a well-documented historical event is surprising and easily shareable.
