Israel demolishes homes of Palestinian who rescued October 7 victims
Original: Criminal # Israel stays true to form as a ruthless land thief. 'Israeli authorities have demolished properties belonging
Israeli authorities have demolished properties belonging to a Palestinian citizen of Israel who rescued 30 Israelis from the Nova music festival during the 7 October 2023 attacks. Critics are calling the demolition proof of what they describe as Israel's routine treatment of Palestinians, arguing the man's heroism earned him no protection from displacement.
Why now: The irony of a rescuer from October 7 having his own home demolished has struck a nerve in ongoing debates over Israeli demolitions of Palestinian property.
