Pierre Mignoni's departure from Toulon draws scrutiny

Original: pierre mignoni

Pierre Mignoni, the Toulon head coach and former France scrum-half, is in the news on two fronts. Fiji's rugby union is finalising a new national head coach after considering Mignoni and Toulon teammate Sébastien Saint-André, with a respected South African coach expected to get the job instead. Meanwhile, Toulon attack coach Pierre Mignoni's departure is being discussed, with Nicolas Collazo questioning public commentary around the club's coaching changes.

Why now: Toulon's coaching shake-up and Fiji's search for a national coach both involve Mignoni, prompting speculation about his next move.
