US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth addressed sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, acknowledging that their recent deployment 'wasn't easy'. The carrier's tour has drawn controversy, and Hegseth's remarks have prompted discussion about the extended mission and the pressures placed on naval crews. Commentators are weighing the tone of his message against criticism of the deployment itself.
