Mike Flanagan to turn Stephen King's Carrie into a series
Original: Mike Flanagan's Carrie series
Filmmaker Mike Flanagan is developing a television adaptation of Stephen King's debut novel Carrie, the story of a bullied teenager with telekinetic powers. The project follows Flanagan's recent string of Stephen King adaptations, and fans of horror television are debating how the famously bloody prom-set story will translate to the small screen and who might take on the lead role.
Why now: Flanagan has become the go-to adaptor of Stephen King's work, so news of a new take on one of the author's most iconic novels draws instant attention from horror fans.
