Jet-powered drones detected over Chernihiv and Kyiv regions
Original: π΄ AirAttack | 9/10 πΊπ¦ Jet UAVs detected in Chernihiv and Kyiv regions Jet UAVs were detected in Slavutych and Sorokoshyc
Ukrainian air-monitoring channels reported jet-powered attack drones over the Chernihiv and Kyiv regions, with sightings in Slavutych, Sorokoshychi and Fastiv. Air-raid alerts were active as authorities tracked the fast-moving UAVs heading inland, a type that is harder for air defences to intercept than slower Shahed-style drones.
Why now: Fast jet-powered drones penetrating deep into northern and central Ukraine raise alarm about air-defence gaps during ongoing Russian strikes.
