Yemeni forces claim key heights as Houthi attacks continue
Original: Yemen war live: Yemeni forces claim key heights as Houthi attacks go on https://www. aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/20 26/1
Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces say they have seized strategic high ground in western Taiz, even as Houthi attacks continue across the country. The claims come from ongoing live coverage of the conflict, with fighting around Taiz remaining one of the war's most persistent fronts. There is no immediate independent confirmation of the territorial gains, and the Houthis have not commented on the reported losses.
Why now: Fresh battlefield claims from Taiz show the Yemen war still active, drawing continued attention to a long-running conflict.
