Dodgers questioned over burden on promoted prospect
Original: ホスエ・デポーラ
Discussion in Japan centres on the Los Angeles Dodgers' handling of a newly promoted prospect, with baseball commentators saying the young player was clearly carrying too heavy a load. Critics argue the team put a major burden on him by calling him up, and questions are being raised about whether the promotion was handled properly and whether the roster move served the player's development.
Why now: Japanese baseball fans are debating the Dodgers' decision to promote a prospect and the pressure it placed on him.
