Dr. Oz Fact-Checked on Fox News Over Butter Price Claim

Original: laura ingraham

Fox News host Laura Ingraham's show became the scene of an awkward on-air moment when Dr. Oz made a claim about the price of butter and was corrected live with a fact-check. The New Republic highlighted the exchange, calling the correction embarrassing for Oz. Commentators are seizing on the episode as an example of economic claims about grocery prices falling apart under scrutiny.

Why now: Grocery prices remain a politically charged topic, and a host fact-checking a guest on her own network is getting attention.
