Glen Powell Blames Paramount Layoffs for Running Man Flop
Original: glen powell
Glen Powell is in the news on two fronts. The actor said recent mass layoffs at Paramount Pictures bear some responsibility for the underperformance of his remake of The Running Man. Separately, his food brand Smash Kitchen passed $100 million in sales, with reports crediting its Gen Z appeal and a distribution deal placing products in Walmart stores.
Why now: He made a controversial comment tying a box office flop to Paramount's layoffs while his consumer brand posted major growth.
