Orange cat photographed as a 'fiercely independent libertarian'
Original: Know your politicians. This is a fiercely independent libertarian. # cats # orangecats # ginger # photography # politics
A social media user shared a photograph of an orange cat, jokingly presenting it as a politician — a 'fiercely independent libertarian'. The post plays on the popular internet trope that ginger cats have bold, stubborn personalities, using the language of politics humorously rather than to make a serious point about any real politician or party.
Why now: The cat-as-politician joke taps into the widespread meme that orange cats are notably independent and self-willed.
