Storms Isaías and Simón keep Mexican states on alert

Original: jalisco

Tropical storms Isaías and Simón are moving across Mexico, bringing heavy rains and keeping authorities on alert, with Jalisco among the affected states. In Jalisco, schools have been placed on alert amid water supply cuts, as rationing by tanker trucks, known as tandeos, disrupts normal service. Residents are watching weather updates and local measures closely as the storms develop.

Why now: Severe weather from two simultaneous storms and water shortages are directly affecting daily life in Jalisco.
