Supporters on Mastodon are sharing a fundraising appeal for Ayham, a young man from Gaza who wants to train as a nurse and work in healthcare. The campaign, hosted on the Lifeline4Gaza platform, calls for donations so he can complete the necessary studies and 'save lives'. Posts carry hashtags including Gaza, Palestine and GazaMutualAid, urging users to boost and contribute to the appeal.
Why now: Mutual aid networks are actively circulating Gaza fundraising campaigns, and helping a student become a nurse resonates as a concrete, hopeful cause.
