A discount on replacement ear pads for the new Beats 360 headphones is being offered only through Amazon in Germany. Heise reports that Apple has handed the announced deal for inexpensive accessories for the new Beats devices to the e-commerce giant, a move that carries several disadvantages for buyers, such as limited availability elsewhere and reliance on a single retailer for accessories.
Why now: Shoppers interested in the new Beats 360 are noticing that discounted ear pads can only be bought from Amazon Germany, which limits their options.
