Google has released SynthID Detector, its tool for identifying AI-generated content, for general availability at Synthid.com. The detector can recognize SynthID watermarks embedded by Google's own models as well as content from other companies including OpenAI and Kakao. The launch means anyone can now check whether text, images, audio or video carry an invisible AI watermark rather than relying on separate verification tools.
