Ingraham mocks Oz over butter price claim on air
Original: #Ingraham , a Fox lifer, looked at #MehmetOz who said a stick of butter costs a dollar and said: "Where are you shopping
Fox host Laura Ingraham publicly questioned Dr. Mehmet Oz after he claimed a stick of butter costs a dollar, asking on air, "Where are you shopping? It's not a buck." The exchange is drawing attention as an example of inflation-related price confusion from a prominent political figure, with commentators highlighting the disconnect between the claim and actual grocery costs. The jab has spread widely because Ingraham is a longtime Fox personality criticizing a fellow network-aligned figure.
Why now: A high-profile Fox host openly mocked a prominent Republican politician over a inaccurate grocery price claim, feeding into ongoing inflation debate.
